Step 1: After opening a task, press on the ‘Search’ button in ‘Search Interactors’ field in order to display all possible matches, if not opened by default (when >1 interactor matched). Note that you can change the prepopulated data in the search fields if none of the results are appropriate.
Step 2: Press the ‘Confirm’ button on the best match automatically associated by the system to confirm association of the task with the interactor or “Associate” it with any of the below matches you consider more appropriate.
Step 3: If a new lead is calling from an existing interactor phone number, you can change the data in the ‘Search Interactors’ fields. Then initiate a new “Search” in order to check if new interactor exists for this lead. If not, press on ‘Associate with new interactor’ button in order to create a new interactor.
Step 4: You need to make sure you have filled in all the required fields in order to create a new interactor otherwise you will see the below error message.
Step 5: Then you will need to confirm association with the newly created interactor by clicking on 'Yes’ (if you need to change the provided details for creating a new interactor, you can click on 'No’ and go back to change them in the Search filters) .
Step 6: Finally you will see a success notification for the association and you need to click on ‘OK’.
Important! : Please note that you will not be able to complete the task if you haven`t associated it with an interactor first.
